Wissetris

Are you tired of all those tetris-clones? Sorry, but here's another one. Its called Wissetris . The big difference is that this one gives you a lot less frustration and a lot more gameplay. Because this one can mirror and rotate falling blocks! So no more 'almost' good blocks. B.t.w. Wissetris needs a browser capable of running java 1.1.5 applets.

Keys to play the game with (make sure the applet has focus by clicking on it):

• cursor key left
  falling block goes left
• cursor key right
  falling block goes right
• cursor key up
  falling block mirrors
• cursor key down
  falling block rotates one quarter
• space bar
  falling block falls down with light speed
• P
  pause/continue
• R
  restart

Known limitations (i.e. bugs):

• The vertical bar (three blocks on top of each other) cannot rotate
  
• No checks if there is room for block if it is mirrored just before it is landed
  
• Game over and wissetris images do not appear the first time
  

Planned changes:

• Fixes of bugs mentioned above
  
• High-score list
  
• Next block to fall visible
  
• Nice explosions if rows are completed
  
• Better 3-D effects
